JURA SKI AND LEISURE AREA
1. LA RESTANQUE REFURB AND BUILD PROJECT
2. DOMAINE DE PAILLY BUILD PROJECT

These properties are in France at the 1'323 meter high La Faucille Pass, 23 km from downtown Geneva (Switzerland).
La Faucille is part of the Monts-Jura group of resort villages. There is an EU financing grant to develop ski and hiking facilities to
international level. The location is an attraction for residents of the greater Geneva area.

Italian Alps.

View south over Lake Geneva, the Swiss and French
countryside and the French Alps. Mont Blanc is the white
mountain in the center of the photograph. In winter, the front
range is also white with snow. Geneva city is at the west
end of the lake on the right side of the photograph (it's
famous Jet d'Eau 140 metre high fountain is the vertical
white mark visible at the lake's extremity). This is the last
view of the Alps when one heads north to Dijon and Paris.
Domaine de la Pailly (once a derelict workers' holiday
home, now demolished) will be a total rebuild to the same
proportions. It is located a few hundred metres from the La
Faucille pass. The antennas in the background are on the
top of the Jura range. The property is surrounded by the
Jura Nature Park.
Domaine de la Pailly - view of the opposite side to the
previous photograph. The white wall supports the front
veranda.
La Restanque apartment complex (rear) at the La Faucille
Pass. To be refurbished.
La Restanque - front view of the derelict apartment complex
at La Faucille Pass, with the Geneva-Dijon mountain road.
The towering mass of Mont Blanc, 150 km away, is visible in
the distance. This pass-road is laid directly over the Celtic,
then Roman, then Napoleonic highway from Lombardy to
Gaul and Britain. It is here that it crosses the Jura mountain
range on its way to Dijon. The building stands where
millions of travellers, pilgrims, merchants, soldiers, have
passed during the centuries.
La Restanque - winter view of motel.
La Restanque property - derelict former motel to be totally
rebuilt and extended (just behind apartment complex at La
Faucille Pass). The hilltop antennas are the same as the
ones in the country club photograph. Ski lifts are visible on
hilltop.
